Definitely not someone to mess with. Chen Shu thought to himself.
Since the guy was here to take Spirit Chef University's independent exam, he had to be around their age. Xu Xiaoyu, the top student at Nanjiang Second High, was only a Level 7 Beast Tamer, yet this guy was already Level 8.
The gap between Nanjiang City and the Capital really was massive.
"Fine! I'll fight you!"
Chen Shu thought it over. This was actually a good chance to test the slime's strength.
Although Zhu Dabai was a Level 8 Beast Tamer, his contract spirit's potential rating definitely wasn't high—otherwise, why would he be applying to Spirit Chef University?
Most likely, he'd been pumped up to Level 8 through sheer resource stacking.
"You checked his background, right?"

Chen Shu clutched his stomach, feeling like he was about to laugh himself into a cramp.
Despite having mastered all his high school knowledge, he had no memory of this Flying Pig. Could it be some newly mutated contract spirit?
Ten minutes later, Chen Shu finally steadied himself and summoned the Golden Slime.
Zhu Dabai sneered. "Your contract spirit isn't much better, is it?"
Although the Flying Pig only had an E-rank potential rating, the Golden Slime was F-rank. That made him feel a bit more balanced.
Both contract spirits were now on the field, but there was no bloody battle like one might expect. Instead, they just stared at each other.

Zhu Dabai snorted coldly and immediately ordered his contract spirit to use a skill.
The Flying Pig's mouth suddenly puffed up round, and in an instant, an invisible air bullet shot out.

The slime's body tumbled backward several meters. Its big eyes glared with fury.

The massive slime completely whiffed it, the impact still causing the arena floor to tremble.
