Yu Feng reacted instantly, grabbing his gun and flipping over the side of the landing craft in one fluid motion. He plunged into the sea while the other streaming players remained frozen in confusion, still processing what was happening.
The screaming shell plummeted down, striking dead center of the landing craft's deck.

The entire vessel exploded in a blinding flash, tremendous forces tearing the landing craft to shreds.
Submerged in the water, Yu Feng could only watch helplessly as the landing craft's hull above him split open, debris exploding and scattering in all directions. Flying metal fragments streaked toward him through the water, and despite his desperate attempts to twist away, several pieces found their mark. Fortunately, none struck vital areas.
Yu Feng fought his way to the surface, breaking through with a violent splash. He gasped for air, his mind reeling and going completely blank while a persistent ringing filled his ears.
All their careful plans and tactical arrangements had proven utterly useless. In a single devastating instant, two landing craft packed with soldiers had been reduced to just him. His reputation as a top-tier sniper god meant nothing here—he couldn't even steady his hands enough to raise his rifle.
Operating on pure instinct, Yu Feng began swimming toward the beach, forcing himself to breathe steadily. Around him, wave after wave of landing crafts surged toward shore, disgorging masses of NPCs and players who charged forward only to collapse in horrific numbers.

She began wrapping the bandage around the player's neck: "This should restore health, once it's applied—"
Mo Xiaomo's face drained of color as her hands froze. The Allied player lay motionless—completely dead. The bandage hadn't magically restored anything.
Health regeneration? Was this supposed to be a game? The crushing realization hit her: this felt nothing like any game she'd ever experienced.
A familiar whistling sound cut through the air above them. Mo Xiaomo suddenly heard someone screaming.
"Little Mo! Get down!"
She turned to see Yu Feng pressed against the steel anti-tank obstacles, his pants soaked crimson with blood, his arm also bleeding freely. Despite his injuries, he was frantically gesturing and shouting warnings.
"Brother Yu?" The words barely left Mo Xiaomo's lips when—

The shell detonated with devastating force, the blast wave rippling outward in all directions. Under such tremendous impact, the steel anti-tank obstacles twisted and buckled, their iron framework collapsing entirely.

His third shot found its mark. The machine gun emplacement fell silent.
Vengeful satisfaction flooded through him, bringing the first smile to his face since the landing began. But that moment of triumph died as quickly as it had been born.
The supposedly silenced bunker suddenly stirred to life, its gun barrel swiveling toward him. Yu Feng's smile froze as he watched the muzzle flash ignite.

Bullets tore through him in an instant, riddling his body with holes.
