Ch. 72 - Where Are Your Clothes?!

The Taekwondo Club members started cheering for Kim Jong-hee, their shouts filled with the pent-up anger from their previous defeat.

"Go, Brother Jong-hee, go!"

"Brother Jong-hee, teach that guy a lesson!"

"Fight!!!!!"

Although there were fewer people this time, their cheers were just as loud. 

Ye Chuan was a bit surprised; he hadn't realized their resentment towards him was so strong.

What did it have to do with him?

They were the ones who had embarrassed themselves. It was a many-against-one fight, and they still lost. Whose fault was that?

Just as Ye Chuan was about to start, he noticed Kim Jong-hee putting on protective gear, which made him raise an eyebrow. "So protective gear is allowed?"

Kim Jong-hee sneered and patted his gloves. "It's a no-holds-barred free combat match. Anything goes, including equipment!"

Despite his dismissive attitude towards Ye Chuan, Kim Jong-hee was actually quite cunning, having prepared the protective gear in advance.

Luo Xi, seeing this, immediately tugged at An Shiyu's arm. "Xiaoyu, isn't this against the rules? Who wears protective gear in a duel?"

Ye Chuan wasn't wearing anything!

An Shiyu, seeing their shameless behavior, just shook her head. "Don't worry, see how nonchalant Ye Chuan is?"

Luo Xi looked at Ye Chuan and saw that he indeed seemed unconcerned.

Even a bit disdainful.

Seeing Ye Chuan's calm demeanor, Luo Xi felt slightly reassured. He didn't seem afraid at all.

Ye Chuan looked at the shameless Kim Jong-hee and shook his head. 

"Kneel and apologize now, and I might let you leave, brat," Kim Jong-hee said, not feeling the slightest bit ashamed. 

It was just protective gear; he would do anything to win.

And even if his fellows found out, it didn't matter. It was just making use of the rules.

Ye Chuan shook his head. "Since you're so shameless, I have nothing more to say. Wearing a turtle shell won't change the fact that you're a turtle."

Ye Chuan beckoned him. "Come at me, little turtle."

Seeing Ye Chuan's nonchalant attitude, Kim Jong-hee sneered, then, without saying anything more, he adopted a fighting stance and approached Ye Chuan, throwing a punch towards his face!

Kim Jong-hee liked to play dirty. He feigned a kick, then quickly switched to a punch, hoping to catch Ye Chuan off guard!

But no matter how much he liked sneak attacks, his little tricks were easily seen through by Ye Chuan.

Ye Chuan casually blocked Kim Jong-hee's attack, then kicked him away!

Ye Chuan's speed was too fast. The kick sent Kim Jong-hee flying, sliding several meters across the floor!

"How?!" Kim Jong-hee couldn't believe it. How was this possible?

Huang Haotian, seeing this, felt his scalp tingle!

What was going on?

This familiar feeling, this familiar scene?

It was happening again!

"Brother, you have to win!" Thinking of the possibility of losing, Huang Haotian shouted with all his might!

His voice was so loud that it cracked and became hoarse.

But some people in the audience noticed something strange. One of Kim Jong-hee's protective gear pieces was missing?

A closer look revealed that his leg guard had disappeared, his lower leg now bare.

"That was just a mistake!" Kim Jong-hee stepped forward and launched his signature side kick!

Ye Chuan dodged effortlessly, then kicked Kim Jong-hee away again!

This time, Kim Jong-hee felt the pain, clutching his stomach and groaning. "Argh."

Why?

All his moves were being seen through?!

Kim Jong-hee screamed inwardly. This was impossible! How could his opponent's reaction speed be so fast?!

Huang Haotian, seeing Kim Jong-hee being kicked around, panicked. "No! Brother Jong-hee, you can't lose!"

Huang Haotian had not only maxed out all his credit lines but also lied to his grandmother, saying he had been accepted into a study abroad program and needed money for tuition. If he lost, he would have nothing left!

He had bet everything on this duel!

He couldn't lose!

Huang Haotian was practically on his knees, begging Kim Jong-hee to win.

Seeing Huang Haotian's desperation, Kim Jong-hee took a deep breath. "I'm fine, I just haven't exercised in a while, don't worry!"

Kim Jong-hee looked at Ye Chuan. "You're strong, I admit you have some skills to have defeated those losers in the Taekwondo Club. But you've met your match—"

"The runner-up, Kim Jong-hee!"

Kim Jong-hee decided to engage in close combat!

He believed his physical strength wouldn't lose to a mere kid!

They grappled with each other, and after a few exchanges, people noticed something amiss—

Where were his clothes?!

They had seen Kim Jong-hee wearing protective gear, but after a few exchanges with Ye Chuan, his clothes seemed to have vanished!

"Heh, out of tricks now?" Kim Jong-hee grinned, grabbing Ye Chuan's arm, thinking he had the upper hand.

He stepped back, his confidence returning.

"Brother, Brother! Your… clothes!" someone shouted, and Kim Jong-hee froze, feeling a chill.

He looked down and realized he was standing in the ring, completely naked.

Kim Jong-hee: "?!"

As he stood there dumbfounded, Ye Chuan appeared before him, smiling. "Why not wear more?"

Then, he punched Kim Jong-hee in the jaw.
