Ch. 71 - Black Water Strikes

At night, the cold moonlight swept away the glitz from the day in White Scale City, being silent as if it was a sleeping behemoth.

But if the enemy thought that White Scale City had lost its vigilance, he would be very wrong. There were still vigorous murloc soldiers standing on the walls of White Scale City, and the dark areas of the outer and inner walls of the city were also equipped with murloc nightcrawler secret guards. Ten murloc invaders rushed to the south gate of White Scale City, trying to open the gate directly, and let their army directly attack the city.

But the inner city gate had been opened, while the outer city gate was rescued in time, without letting the intruders succeed.

Outside the city gate, an army of murlocs emerged from the sea, like a tide rushing to White Scale City. They were armed with fishbone knives, shell shields, harpoon forks and other weapons to attack White Scale City. There were also several ten meters long sea snakes in the enemy camp.

On the city wall, the guards of White Scale City hurriedly stood up and shot at the enemy. Soldiers ran out from all over the city to join the guards.

The enemy commander completely ignored the safety of ordinary murloc soldiers and directed the sea snakes to charge directly. The ten-meter-long body of the sea snake quickly twisted and rammed, crushed the murloc who was blocking the way, stood upright, and climbed the city wall. Facing the defending soldiers, it directly devoured them off.

A sea snake opened its big mouth and swept across a section of the wall greedily. The murloc soldiers either lost their lives or jumped to escape. This section of the wall was swept away in an instant.

The murloc guard general saw this and took the initiative to attack on its own; he charged, swung the steel long sword in its hand, and slashed towards the big snake.

The sword slashed on the scales of the snake, cutting a huge chunk of meat, and blood spurted out, but this wound was not a serious injury to the giant sea snake more than ten meters long, but instead, it successfully angered it.

The sea snake raised its head, exposing the poisonous glands in its mouth, and the muscles of the snake’s neck moved in ripples.

The high-level murloc general saw the big mouth of the sea snake growing up to be a large blood basin and threw the stainless steel long sword like a javelin.

The sea snake didn't have the time to release its attack, and the sword pierced through its mouth.

The sea snake looked up to the sky and let out a painful and desperate roar. The snake's pupil lost its lustre and it slid below the city wall, crushing the murloc invaders below, and the sea snake's body kept still twitching instinctively.

The murloc general was out of breath, only one sea snake died, and more sea snakes were still raging on the wall.

They were like sprinklers that sprayed highly poisonous venom. As long as ordinary murlocs encountered it, they would turn blue and die after a few breaths.

Under the city wall, with the help of a special ejection device, the murlocs ejected a group of several elite murlocs on the city wall like a trampoline to fight with the murloc invaders. Unfortunately, the number of ejection devices was too little compared to the enemy in terms of numbers; hence,  the number of murlocs transported was limited.

At this time, in White Scale City, several figures rushed to the wall, and the masters of the White Scale City came.

Old Blind jumped into the air and threw the spear in his hand. The spear was inserted over the head of a sea snake that was spewing venom. Old Blind landed on the wall, picked up a hunting spear, and joined the battle.
