“I’m the same as before,” Bai replied. “I want to rebuild Ancient Eternal God Realm and restore my ancestors’ glory.”

“Fair enough. You gained a lot this time. Once you return home and cultivate in seclusion, your strength should rise several levels,” Xu Zimo said. “I’ll speak with the Radiant Court and have them remove the threat of the Fire Python Holy Lands for you.”

“Thank you, Young Master!” Realm Lord Bai immediately fell to his knees. The Fire Python Holy Lands were a deadly enemy to them. But to a force like the Radiant Court, it was nothing but an ant that could be crushed with a flick of the wrist.

Xu Zimo waved dismissively and turned to Shangguan Xian.

And because of Shangguan Xiongba’s foolish decision, the Divine Crow God Realm sided with the wrong faction. The Radiant Court will definitely settle accounts with them.”

How they would settle it was obvious. It wasn’t about destroying the entire Fire Region. They would simply eliminate the Shangguan Heavenly Clan and appoint a new force to govern it. Simple. If you don’t listen, you get replaced.

Xu Zimo nodded.

“What about you, Young Master?” Shangguan Xian asked.

“I’m guessing he’ll head to the Absolute God Heaven,” Violet Mist Saint Sovereign said. “Your steps grow firmer with each move, and you never stop. Ordinary people like us can’t begin to understand.”

“Yes. I’m going to the Absolute God Heaven,” Xu Zimo said, looking up at the sky. “A lot of things aren’t what I want, but they’re also what I must do.”

“Tired?” Shangguan Xian asked suddenly.
