“Yuki…Yuki as a human is dead. We can’t tell your parents the truth. Is that okay with you? A vampire’s dependent has a master-servant relationship with their master. But it’s you. I want to be your equal.”
"Didn't I tell you? I am yours. I'll always be by your side."
Kazuya says, “Even though we are both Marc-sama’s dependents, Yuki-sama is still a very important person to him, and that will never change."
Yuki looked happy.
“But how will you disguise it? Besides, if my parents find out about my death, their financial support to this country may be cut off. I don’t want that.”
Kazuya then pulled out a recorder.
“Here, Yuki-sama, please record a message in your voice to your parents as your last will and testament. You will not be able to see them again. So…”
Yuki speaks with determination, microphone in hand.
“Dad. Mom. I’m so sorry. If you’re listening to this, it means I’m gone. I don’t regret coming here. Thank you...for raising me all these years!"
She turned off the mic.
"Is that okay? Isn't there anything more you want to say?" I said.
"It’s okay. I’m sure Mom and Dad will understand. Because they’re both doctors too!”
Yuki said with a smile. That smile made my heart tighten.
Kazuya continued, “Well then, I will disguise the body. Can you help me, Yuki-sama? I'll make copies of your fingerprints, retinas, and dental molds. I'll have to remove your eyeball. The pain will subside quickly, so please just bear with it for a bit.”
With that, he took out one of Yuki’s eyeballs. He then inserted the eye into a corpse, which I do not know where he got from.
“! .......What? It doesn't hurt anymore and I can see!"
Yuki seemed surprised.
“Vampires have excellent healing ability. They are better than any other race."
Kazuya explained. Am I the only one who thinks her surprised look is adorable? Then he made copies of her fingerprints and dental molds and transferred them to the corpse.
“We ended up deceiving your parents, but you have become different from human beings. And that’s not going to change.”
What is Yuki looking in the mirror and doing?
“It’s true! I have fangs!”
“There it is… I remember it was the same with me when we first met. You looked at me curiously too.”

She made a slightly troubled face.
