Ch. 39 - Funeral

As he stepped off the medical cart, Tianyang realized that the team had not departed at all these days.

They were still stuck where they were.

Ghost Train seemed to be the most powerful dark creatures in the area, and now it was dead, but its body was too big.

Tianyang remembered that she was a hunter in the Yellow Dragon team, short hair, and loved to laugh. When resting, you can always hear her cheerful laughter.

Now she laid here. On the way back, we will not hear her laughter.

The mood was sinking.

"Why didn't you leave?" Han Shu's voice rang out, while the choking smell of smoke came.

"What about you, Captain?" Tianyang asked instead of answering.

Tianyang looked at the pile of stones: "Most of the people here, I do not know. Or, only said a word or two. Even so, I still have a hard time. Captain, you must feel even worse..."

Han Shu looked into the darkness overhead: "Get used to it, people like us, we often have to send off our friends and relatives. Maybe one day, it will be our turn."

"My only wish is to die a good death. It would be nice to have someone to collect my body again."

Tianyang was silent.

Neither of them spoke for the next few minutes until Han Shu's cigarette was finished and the man turned to greet him, "Let's go."

Tianyang followed behind him.

Han Shu hands in his trouser pockets: "Thanks to you this time, otherwise, I guess more people would have died. I will report this incident, and the top will definitely be rewarded. The material weapon is a weapon forged from a part of dark creatures' body.
