“Why must you act this way, sir?” the child said, shaking his head.

“We are merely seeking a way to break the deadlock.”

“What do you mean by breaking the deadlock?” Xu Zimo asked in return.

“A path that allows my people to be like the vast, boundless ocean, endless and enduring, forever flourishing,” the child replied.

“What did those races promise you, that you were willing to use your own people’s essence blood to divine heavenly secrets?” Xu Zimo asked.

“Something extremely generous, generous enough that we could not refuse,” the child said.

“It’s something you cannot give me.”

“I can’t?” Xu Zimo asked with interest. “Do you know who I am?”

The child shook his head.

“Our Ancient Relicfolk does not easily divine ourselves. The closer the divination is to oneself, the less accurate it becomes. But after doing something as grave as leaking heavenly secrets, I feared great calamity and divined a hexagram for myself, and for our Ancient Relicfolk as well.”

He continued, “Although I cannot calculate your identity, I do know that you came because of matters related to heavenly secrets.”

“Since you know that, why not surrender?” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes. “Do you really think you can escape?”

“How would I know if I don’t try?” the child laughed. “Even a trapped beast dares to struggle. Why wouldn’t we?”

Xu Zimo raised his right hand. Terrifying power erupted within his palm.

He beckoned lightly and said calmly, “I’ll give you a chance to resist. Let me see how capable you really are.”

“Then watch closely,” the child said. “When my Ancient Relicfolk reaches the Saint Sovereign realm, we undergo a true transformation. And I suspect that if we were to enter the Infinite Dao realm, our race would change even more dramatically.”

As he spoke, he extended his right hand, and a character seal appeared before him.

“Heaven-earth script,” Xu Zimo said with interest.

So-called heaven-earth script referred to the first batch of characters born within the world.

At the time of creation, influenced by Xu Zimo, the world itself evolved these characters.

With the emergence of characters came language, and only then could living beings communicate.

These characters scattered across the world, guiding humanity toward development and creation.

Xu Zimo was deeply interested in the native life forms of the God World.

The bone transformed into a long spear, bound by chains of iron.

This was another unique trait of the Ancient Relicfolk.

Each time they advanced a realm, one chain on the bone would break, unsealing a new ability.

If all twelve chains were broken, it meant they had reached the absolute pinnacle of the God World.

This was similar to Xu Zimo opening all twelve meridian gates and transcending into an undying state.

The character continued its tracing.

A beam of light fell upon Xu Zimo, and the character began to pursue his origin.

Xu Zimo did not resist at all, allowing the tracing to proceed.

After a long while, however, the character suddenly trembled and visibly shrank, revealing no images whatsoever.

The child was struck with disbelief.

“How is this possible?”

Yet this human before him could not be traced at all.

Seeing the child frown in confusion, Xu Zimo smiled.

As his words fell, immense power surged around Xu Zimo.

Thunder roared as creative force shot into the heavens.

At that moment, the sky itself seemed to welcome him.

Seven-colored clouds spread across the horizon, white clouds transformed into a boundless sea of clouds, and countless golden lotus blossoms of merit descended.

Golden springs gushed from the earth. Heaven and earth rejoiced.

A breeze passed by, as if dancing lightly.

Xu Zimo smiled.

“I want there to be thunder in this world, and so there is thunder.”

Instantly, thunder rolled and lightning split the clear sky.

“I want there to be rain in this world, and so there is rain.”

In the next instant, under a blazing sun, torrential rain poured down, an utterly bizarre sight.

“I find the world too lonely, and so the myriad races came into being.”

At this moment, Xu Zimo was the Ultimate Creator incarnate, commanding all things, plucking the sun and moon, ruling heaven and earth. The entire world existed to serve him.

“Do you understand now? Because I am this world’s father. I am the creator of everything. You may call me the Ultimate Creator.”

Watching Xu Zimo command wind and rain as heaven and earth applauded, the child stood dumbfounded, utterly horrified.

It took him a long time to regain his senses.

He could scarcely believe what he had just seen.

He had merely leaked some heavenly secrets and ended up drawing the Ultimate Creator himself?

In truth, he did not know how seriously Xu Zimo regarded Heaven-Slayers.

It shattered space itself and shot straight toward Xu Zimo.

Thunder roared as overwhelming power swept forward, unstoppable and dominant.

Like a torrent of light and energy, it surged toward him.

Xu Zimo looked up and let out a laugh.

“What I can give you, I can also take back.”
