Vol. 1 - Ch. 33 - Yuki's Whereabouts

“Are you sure you don’t want to go after her? That girl seemed serious.”

“I know. She's serious, isn't she? Leonardo. Don't just stand there, come in. Don't worry about Yuki, I know she has an escort. Kazuya put them there."

Leonardo sniffed as he came in.

"You don't smell like blood for a primitive ancestor. The first ancestor I've ever met smelled of so much blood that it was enough to make me gag.”

“Is it possible that this founder was perhaps a relative of mine?”

“Yes, he is. I think he is the eldest son of your family. He came to Japan once, but he was very different from you. He had the aura of a founder.”

"Mikey... came to Japan."

Leonardo looked at me and smiled.

“What the hell. That’s disgusting.”

"Marcus, you said I was your friend. For us Japanese werewolves, you are special. I told Jack too. From now on, the Japanese werewolves will join forces with the Japanese vampires to defeat the hunters.”

“I didn't know that. Are you sure? You could have objected. You don't have to worry about what happens then."

Leonardo laughed loudly.

“We're targets too, so It's okay. It's better for both of us if we join forces here.”

“I see. Well then, thank you.”

We shook hands. Leonardo twists his head.

“Are you sure about this? Is she okay with it?”

"It's fine. I don't know what she's thinking, but I'm sure she's thinking of something surprising. Let’s have some fun with that.”

After that, Yuki did not come back for a while. Concerned, I went to Kazuya's place. He was moved to a private room, but there was no guarantee that no one was listening.

“Kazuya. How's it going? How's life in the hospital. Not so bad, is it? Besides, this is a special room."

“There are no listening devices or anything in here, Marc-sama. Is there something on your mind? Is it Yuki-san? Don't worry. She's just visiting her parents."

“Yeah? I'm pretty sure she said they were traveling on a luxury cruise ship at the moment...."

"Marc-sama, she is a member of the Kashiwagi Group. She must have her own helicopter.”

"Well…well. I guess so.”

Kazuya laughed softly and said, “You are an interesting man."

“Perhaps Kazuya. Do you know where Yuki is and what she’s talking about?"

“Of course. There is nothing I don’t know about you. Don’t underestimate my Information network. Ah! Yuki-san is on her way here right now in her private helicopter.”

Kazuya had something different from an earphone in his ear.....This guy is pretty good. I think it would be more appropriate to call him an informant rather than a lawyer. If I asked him to investigate a cheating affair, he would probably come back the next day with a report. I’m sure he’s in good with the bigwigs in the country too.

Kazuya looked at me and smiled. I wanted to ask him a lot of questions, but I stopped myself from doing so.
