Su Yan couldn’t wrap his head around it. Senior Sister used to adore him—now she seemed to loathe him?

He stepped forward, speaking.

Ling Ling thrust out a hand, shouting, “Stay back!”

He froze. What’s this about?

Those strange memories were too clear. She had checked—they matched real events. Su Yan wasn’t innocent. He was pretending—acting kind while being worse than anyone.

Now he was trying to look weak to win her over?

She cut him off. “I said I’m busy! If you want to leave, then go!”

He stared at her, shocked that even Master’s name didn’t change her mind.

“Okay… you don’t want to talk, I won’t push. I’ll stay here. When you’re ready to leave, just let me know.”

She clearly held a grudge. Looked like she wasn’t leaving anytime soon. Guess he had to wait.

“Why though?” he wondered.

His head spun with questions—there was no way she could know anything about the future.

As he turned to leave, she frowned deeply.

She wanted to walk away. So why was he still chasing her? Wanting things to go back to how they were?
