The Snow Deer Clan had its own unique system.
Their system was based on bloodline inheritance, and even if outsiders understood the principles, they couldn't steal their skills.
Therefore, for children born into the Snow Deer Clan, the amount of family blood they inherited became the fundamental criterion for determining their future family status.
It was well known in the Wester Kingdom that the defining traits of the Snow Deer Clan were white hair and emerald-green eyes.
From the successive Snow Deer Lords to all the powerful members of the clan, everyone possessed these characteristics.
Thus, whether or not a newborn had white hair and emerald eyes was the most basic indicator of the amount of pure genes inherited by each member of the Snow Deer Clan.
Infants without either white hair or emerald eyes were abandoned before they could even grasp the truth.
The best outcome for these children was likely to be raised as servants within the Snow Deer Clan.
Children with only white hair or emerald eyes were tested when they reached the age of five or six.
If one possessed the talent to communicate with deer spirits, they could continue to be nurtured as children of the Snow Deer Clan. However, if they lacked talent, their fate remained bleak.
Vanessa lacked white hair, but possessed beautiful emerald eyes. Furthermore, at the age of five, she displayed the ability to simultaneously control three deer spirits, allowing her to live as the second daughter of the Snow Deer Clan to this day.
However, because she didn't inherit the family's white hair, her abilities remained significantly lower than those of the "Destined Children." Ultimately, she was sent to the Green Lizard Family as an "exchange child," a lifelong pain for Vanessa.
To get back to the point, the Snow Deer Clan's bloodline determined talent, and this talent referred to the potential associated with the Combat Profession 'Deer Spirit'.
Playing music to control deer spirits and battle alongside them was a unique combat system of the Snow Deer Clan. Also, Combat Professions such as the "Deer Spirit," "White Deer Spirit," and "Sacred White Deer Spirit" were specific only to the Snow Deer Clan and could only be mastered by its members.
Among the Snow Deer Clan's abilities, the 'Sacred White Deer' was a particularly unique one. Specifically, it referred to temporarily channeling the power of the Good God into the deer spirit's body, thereby achieving a 'divine invocation'.
Once the 'Sacred White Deer' had been successfully "summoned," the space it resided in could be temporarily treated as a place where the Good God descended, allowing various sacred prayers to have a certain degree of effect.
Such a powerful ability allowed clergy to continue using their powers even after leaving the church, earning it the nickname "Mobile Church."
However, the cost of using the 'Sacred White Deer' ability was significant.
Not only did the ability itself consume a significant amount of magic power, but its cooldown was also a staggering thirty days. These limitations prevented its regular use, limiting it to a mere emergency measure.
Even so, the value of the 'Sacred White Deer' remained unquestionable.
Imagine, deep in the underground labyrinth, when the entire team is on the brink of death, the power of the 'Sacred White Deer', combined with the prayers and healing of the priests, would be a miracle that could give the entire team a second chance at life.
The Snow Deer Clan's rise to become one of the five great families was largely due to the power of the 'Sacred White Deer'.

—"Deer Spirit Concerto, Ninth Movement, Buddha's Light."
Vanessa's aura transformed as the music began.
The girl's even breath, after passing through the silver flute, transformed into a melody that spread like a tide.
In the room, the flute's sound flowed like a gentle breeze, smooth as jade, cleansing the soul.
A white spirit seemed to inhabit this vibrant music, dancing to the rhythm with grace and nobility, the flute playing in the background, the moon shining brightly on the waves.
Fick and Heloise stood frozen in place, listening transfixed. At that moment, a white glow began to emanate from the three fawns, who nestled together intimately.
As Vanessa's melody continued, the deer's glow grew brighter until the three merged into one, radiant being.
A mature, horned deer, composed almost entirely of white light, rose to its feet. This sacred presence instantly revealed itself as the legendary 'Sacred White Deer'.
Heloise exclaimed in astonishment, deeply moved by the appearance of this pure and flawless 'Sacred White Deer'. Fick, beside her, was both amazed and a little hesitant about the deer-shaped, luminous form.
At this moment, Vanessa's music reached its climax.
The clear, ethereal sound of the flute, like celestial music, struck the deepest depths of the human heart.
The buried, repressed emotions of sadness, loneliness, and separation erupted within the hearts of the people, only to be cleansed and purified.
Tapping to the rhythm, the 'Sacred White Deer' stalked towards Heloise, resting its head gently on her back.
The 'Sacred White Deer' trembled slightly, and then two drops of shimmering light dripped from its eyes and merged into her back.
—The 'Sacred White Deer's Tears'...?
Vanessa was astonished at this scene. She hadn't expected this white-haired girl to be so beloved by the 'Sacred White Deer'.
In Vanessa's mind, successfully summoning the 'Sacred White Deer' would be mission accomplished, as simply being around it would provide a powerful cleansing effect.
But the 'Sacred White Deer's' tears, just now, went beyond purification. They were sacred tears capable of instantly healing broken bones and internal injuries!
Vanessa had never been able to get the 'Sacred White Deer' to use the "Holy Tears" in countless training sessions, and she didn't expect that tonight, without her giving any orders, the 'Sacred White Deer' would take the initiative to treat Heloise.
—Is this... the 'Sacred White Deer's' own will...?
Recalling the first time they'd met the white-haired girl on the road, the deer spirits had all shown affection towards her.
Looking at the girl's white hair, Vanessa couldn't help but speculate again about her identity, but then quickly gave up.
—Never mind, even if she is… it has nothing to do with me.
—All this is the sin of those nasty "adults".
The ethereal and melodious music quickly came to a close.
As the music faded, the brilliance of the 'Sacred White Deer' gradually dimmed, eventually returning to its original form of three fawns.
Heloise rubbed her back in disbelief. It felt as if nothing had happened, yet she felt a great deal lighter.
Fick stepped forward to check on her and confirmed it was true.
The 'Parasitic Blood Snake' had completely vanished, and Heloise was free again.
Upon learning the result, Heloise happily jumped around the room. As she did so, she came to Vanessa's side and hugged her arm!
"Kind sister, it's so late. Why don't you stay and sleep with me?"
