Ch. 13 - Where's the Poison in You?

The number of people on the field was decreasing.

Lethargic, Luo Tian reluctantly lifted his head and said, "You two, step up."

Yusheng didn't move but looked curiously at Luo Tian. "May I ask, can we use weapons?"

After seeing that Yusheng was the one he pointed to, Luo Tian reluctantly perked up and examined Yusheng's empty hands and said, "Sure, you can use them."

"Thank you," Yusheng replied earnestly, entering the simple arena.

With a light stroke, Du Xu's wrist hurt, causing him to instinctively let go of the wooden stick, taking two steps back while clutching his hand.

The dagger vanished like magic.

A dagger appeared along Yusheng's sleeve, firmly held in his hand with only a centimeter of the blade exposed, stabbing Du Xu one cut at a time.

The distance of one centimeter was enough to cause pain but not inflict severe injuries.

However, the visual impact was shocking.

Blood kept flowing from Du Xu's wounds, quickly dyeing his clothes red.

Du Xu looked somewhat bewildered.

Yusheng's expression remained calm all along. He decisively threw the dagger on the ground, took a step back, then narrowly avoided Du Xu's lunge. He then extended his right foot slightly to counter the strong momentum, causing Du Xu to fall to the ground.

With one knee pressing on Du Xu's back, Yusheng rolled up his sleeves.

Revealing a crossbow tied to his arm.

It was already loaded and ready to fire.

Instinctively aiming it at Du Xu's back, Yusheng hesitated for a moment before putting the crossbow away and punching Du Xu on the back of his head.

Du Xu never had a chance to get up, he passed out.

"Haha... Kid, you..."

Luo Tian was dumbfounded at this moment. Was this something an eighteen-year-old could even do? Even some soldiers with fewer years of experience might not be able to perform such a maneuver.

He was genuinely amazed.

Yusheng began searching Du Xu's clothes, collar and sleeves, then Luo Tian started to have a vague guess and asked tentatively, "Are you... from Sin City?"
