“The Land of Destruction?” Xu Zimo frowned slightly.

This was also the first time he had heard of this place.

“Some say the Land of Destruction was cursed, that land is the resting place of death,” Venerable Nu said. “You’ll understand when you get there. “But unlike other places, the Land of Destruction is a land without an owner. Even the imperial lineages cannot govern it. It is a true dark zone. So once you go there, you must be careful.”

Venerable Nu carefully marked the rough location on the beast hide with each stroke of his brush.

He then gave many additional warnings about the place.

Xu Zimo nodded slightly.

“Her name is Ji Ruobing, I think. You could travel with her. At least you’ll have someone to watch your back along the way.”

“I understand,” Xu Zimo nodded slightly. “As long as they don’t provoke me.”

As one of the five imperial lineahes, the Immortal Extinction Sacred Ground’s history stretched through the entire long river of the Primordial Heartlands.

Their strength being in the top three of all imperial lineages in Primordial Heartlands was without question.

Thus, no one wanted to provoke them.

They were the true overlords of the Overlord Region.

Xu Zimo thought it over and decided to ask Ji Ruobing.

During the great battle at the Heavenly Dao Academy, she had not left, but instead stayed to help.

Xu Zimo nodded slightly.

“Flying on our own would be too tiring. Let’s ride beasts, so we can rest if we need to,” Xu Zimo replied.

The Heavenly Dao Academy raised special spirit beasts for the students to choose from.

Xu Zimo had his Dark Tiger, so he didn’t need one.

Ji Ruobing, however, chose a Scarlet Qilin Horse.

The horse was entirely fiery red, like blazing flames, majestic and powerful.

Its hooves were unusual, stepping like flying swallows, its fur thick and dense.

Its body was covered in crimson scales.

It was an awe-inspiring sight.

The two rode their beasts, heading west of the Heavenly Dao Academy.

Spirit beasts could travel thousands of miles in a day.

Autumn was destined to be the season of decline.

The land and sky along the journey were filled with drifting and falling yellow leaves.

Even the dusk was golden, reflecting with the leaves.

It was as if the whole world was painted in this scene.

“When I get the chance, I still want to fight you again,” Ji Ruobing finally broke the silence, seeing Xu Zimo say nothing.

“Oh,” Xu Zimo nodded slightly.

Seeing Xu Zimo close his eyes and rest, Ji Ruobing gave a cold snort and turned her head away.

The journey became quiet again.
