Yuki whispered to me, “Marc……I wanted to be with you for a long time.”
She lost consciousness again after saying that.
“I’m sorry. Please let me stay here with her.”
The other doctors knew what I was talking about and left the place. I couldn’t treat her. That was what it meant. Kazuya is at my feet. I've made up my mind.
“Kazuya. When Yuki gets out of control, hold her down with me.”
Saying that, I picked up Yuki and sank my fangs into her neck and sucked her blood. It tasted as good as ever. From there. Yuki’s body shook violently as her blood ran out, and then a voice which sounded nothing like hers came out.

She shot up and went wild. Kazuya and I held her down. I put my arm to Yuki’s mouth.

Yuki said quietly and then became silent. Her eyes seemed vacant. I asked her,
“Yuki, how are you doing? How are you feeling?”
“Well…I... how... and this blood..."
Then she looked at herself. Her injuries had healed. She looked at it curiously. There was a lot of blood around her mouth and on her collar.
“I’m sorry. I had to do this to save you.”
I avoided her gaze. Then she seemed to understand.
She got off the bed and hugged me.
Yuki gently said, “Don’t apologize, it’s what I originally wanted. I’m glad. It means I’ve become your dependent, doesn’t it?”
“Yes, that’s right.”
I was anemic and couldn’t stand, so I leaned against Kazuya.
