“Will I live to see that day?” Qin Shuang murmured.

“If I want someone dead, even if they hide at the ends of the world, they’ll die. If I want someone to live, then no matter what, be it your Underworld Ice Physique or the wrath of heaven, I’ll make sure they live brightly,” Xu Zimo said lightly.

“Promise me then. You’re strong, but there are many strong people out there. Don’t be reckless. Remember, many people care about you,” Qin Shuang said as she helped straighten his robe. Like a young wife sending her husband off.

Just then, a dozen figures came running from the distance.

They wore blood-colored robes and had red hair.
