The Royal Guard Corps garrison was a place most townsfolk found intimidating to approach.
Sent by the lord about six months ago, the guards made a significant contribution to maintaining public order, but...they tended to be a little too serious.

The nail artist had finished. Giselle looked at her hand, light pink polish dotted with tiny gemstones.
