Ch. 97 - Bandits

At Bailey City's Earl’s castle hall, Earl Dumbledore summoned the White Scale City’s army leader–Ghoul-Garu.

"Your Excellency, are you still used to the life of the expedition?"

Garu: "Well, it's good. Your white bread is delicious."

Ghoul: "Ghoul is not happy. Ghoul is going to fight!"

Garu: "You cut the crap!"

Dumbledore wiped the sweat from his forehead as he looked at the two heads that had started arguing because of their different opinions.

Earl Dumbledore also felt helpless for this ogre having two minds but a single body. He interrupted the argument: "You two, don't worry, there will be bread and battle."

Then he ordered the waiter beside him. "Bring the food here!"

Ghoul: "Ghoul wants to drink."

"Wait, get some more wine."

While the waiter went down to prepare, Garu asked: "Your Excellency, why did you call us?"

The White Scale City’s army had been stationed outside Pele City for seven days. Except for the first time when they met the Earl at the arrival. This was the first time the Earl had summoned Ghoul-Garu.

The Earl didn't mince words when it came to the helper he hired and said directly: "Your Excellency, a group of bandits suddenly appeared south of the city. Taking advantage of the war they are harassing the villages in the territory. I deployed the army to obliterate them, but they escaped, and I don’t want those gangsters to escape again. They are powerful, cunning and cautious, and escaped repeatedly, so I would like to ask your commander to go out and wipe out these gangsters."

Ghoul: "No problem! It's all on us!"

"Hahaha, since it's your commander who is going to do the job, I have nothing to worry about." ...

After the meal, Babcocker–the head butler of the earl's mansion sent the orge away.

Bruce looked at the ogres who had gone out and was puzzled by the Earl's decision: "Lord Father, since you spent so much money to bring them here, why don’t you send them to the front?"

The two-headed ogre chief, Garu was most intelligent and responsible for casting spells, while Ghoul was close to the beasts and was responsible for the fighting. It was precisely due to his low intelligence that Ghoul had a beast-like instinct and could sense hostility from others.

Without any interference, the scouts came into the tent, met the Commander of the White Scale army, and gave a military salute: "Your Excellency, we have found the information on those bandits."

Garu: "Very well, How many people are there? Where is the location?"

The scout gritted his teeth: "There are about 200 of them. They just ransacked Lulan Village at noon and are still drinking and having fun outside the village."

Ghoul-Garu stood up directly: "Lead the way!"

Ghoul waved the mace in his hand: "Ghoul is going to smash their heads!"

Of course, there was no need for a large army to go out to deal with some rogues. Ghoul-Garu only took three trolls, a small group of ogres, plus two-hundred-meter jackals to embark on the road of suppressing gangsters, led by the human scouts.

The bandits raised their food and wine bowls in response to the leader's speech.

“The boss is right!"

The robbers roared with laughter.

The lean, monkey-like middle-level bandit said, "If I had to say, we should break into Pele City together, kill the old man and let the eldest brother break the nobles too!"

This flattery caught Eric's heart, and he laughed out loud.

But he knew in his heart that this was impossible.

Bloodtooth was originally an adventurous group. Its leader, Eric, wanted to take advantage of the chaos of the war to get a fortune from Earl Dumbledore, so he took his brothers and recruited brave refugees to do business without spending money.
