“Yuki-sama. From now on, I will teach you how to behave as a dependent and about vampires.” Kazuya said to Yuki.

“Please do. I don't know anything."

From there, Kazuya’s lecture began. I wonder if this was the right thing to do. To a human being….I think this was a selfish, self-serving act on my part. I didn’t want to lose Yuki, so I turned her into a vampire….

"I know! Just because I’m a vampire doesn’t mean I’m immortal!”

“That’s right. Even the vampire’s dependents have a limited life span. It is not clear how long the life span is due to individual differences. I became a vampire in the Edo period and have lived for over 400 years.”

“That’s amazing. How long has Marc lived?” Yuki looked at me.

“I was born during the reign of Philip VI of France (1328-1350), and my brothers were born even earlier, during the Capetian period, so I forget how long I’ve been alive.”

“Then! You’ve seen a lot of history with your eyes! Amazing!”

Yuki was a little excited. She was strong even though she's no longer human. No, she must have already made up her mind when she started dating me.......

“Well, you know. The retro era is nice, but when things are as convenient as they are now, it's hard to go back to the old days."

“I agree. Even in Japan, it would be tough to live in an era before the widespread use of electrical appliances. It would be unthinkable to live in a time before the internet became commonplace.” Kazuya’s lecture continued.

We left the tent and said goodbye to the doctors of the medical team. Marcus is heartbroken after losing his girlfriend. I guessed that’s probably the picture. That’s fine. Kazuya deposited the recorded recorder with the body and arranged for it to be delivered to Japan. There were companies that specialized in transporting people who have died outside of Japan. He entrusted it to them.

“Please take care of it.”

I kissed the eyelids of the corpse, Yuki’s. I left the place and went to Kazuya and my brothers.

“Yuki. We are going to meet the real mastermind who started this war. You have Kazuya, and you’re a vampire now. I’m not that worried about you, but…you don’t look like much of a fighter. So I want you to stay by my side and just watch. The real fight is about to begin!”

Kazuya had already finished packing up his things.

“Let's go. Marcus-sama. Your brothers are waiting for you."

“Okay.”

We headed for the airport. Of course, Yuki was in disguise.
