It was the middle of the night, when the boat shook with a jolt, and all of a sudden we were overcome with turmoil.
I woke up with a start and called out to Chris next to me.
"Chris!"
"I'm awake."
Chris pulled out a short sword hidden beneath her pillow. I also pulled out my hairpin from my space. It had been modified, but its original form was a short sword.
As I braced myself, the glass of the window facing the ocean suddenly shattered.
We were already on the verge of war when a shadow jumped into view.
"You guys, look for something valuable. Oh? You two look like a pair of jewels. Let's take these girls with us."
A woman's voice rang out, but it was a man's voice. Although the moon was shining and I couldn't see his face well, his silhouette was sturdy and I was sure it was a man. The man seemed to have good night vision and seemed to be able to see us.

Marie stood in front of Chris and me and raised her dark weapons once again.

As the moon emerged from the clouds, the leader's figure was revealed in the moonlight. He was muscular and rugged, but his red hair was tied up at the top of his head, complete with ornaments and hairpins. He was incompatibly dressed similar to a dancing showgirl.
"Ufufu. Looks like we got a big harvest today."
His thick, red lips arched.
"Yurie! Chris! Are you okay!?"
The door was kicked down, and Tojurou-san rushed in.

Then Sylphy-sama and Ron-sama burst in.

Tojurou-san retorted indignantly to the ship sailing side by side.
Kikuno-sama came running in late.
"Yurie, Chris, you seem to be all right. Thank God. Your room is a mess. I'll have another room prepared for you."
"No, Kikuno-sama. It's okay."
I held my hand up to the broken window.
"Sacred Magic Regeneration!"
The shards gathered together in one place and eventually regained their original shape as if nothing had happened.
Tojurou-san whistled.
"Amazing. Can you use this on humans, by any chance?"
"If the person is still alive, it is possible to regenerate missing limbs."
This spell is effective on any object. However, it is forbidden to use it on a deceased individual. This is because they have lost their soul.
The soul rides the belt of reincarnation and arrives at the next life. If the only thing that can be regenerated is the body, the being is no longer human. It is an undead.
"By the way, Tojurou. Are you acquainted with the sissy from earlier?"
Chris asked.
"No, I don't know him! That guy is a pirate who has a stronghold in this area. I ran into him once when I was returning home to Hinoshima."
His name is Julian. His weapon is called a new moon sword. As the name suggests, it is a sword in the shape of a new moon.
He plunders good-looking people and money, but he doesn't take lives.
In this attack, the pirates seemed to have jumped into our room first, and the ship itself was not damaged.
