Vol. 1 - Ch. 39 - Brother Kamil

I came to the hospital director's office to ask about leaving Japan for a while.

“Director. I would like to take some time off. I am thinking of going to Doctors Without Borders. The conflict is escalating and the number of victims is increasing. I hear that the number of refugees is also rising day by day."

The Director, with a difficult look on his face, said,

“I have heard of your accomplishments. I heard you did a lot of good work over there. That you spent every waking moment treating patients.”

We don't need much sleep or food. And with my mother’s incident and all, it was nice to have something to do in silence to take my mind off of things.

“...I hope you will come back. We need you.”

“I understand. I promise. I will definitely come back.”

With the director's permission, I went home to get ready, but the room was clean. My bags were packed. I hear a voice behind me.

"Marcus-sama. I'm ready for you. What route are we taking to get there?"

It was Kazuya.

"I'm sure you have your own private jet, don't you?"

I was lightly joking, but...

“Yes! It's ready. At this time of night, I think Osaka would be more convenient. I think you can take the Shinkansen. Japan’s bullet trains are wonderful.”

That's right! Bullet train! What a wonderful Shape it has! I love it! I mean, how does this guy know my taste? I'm not what they call a tecchan in Japan, but I do like vehicles! I haven't seen Doctor Yellow! I want to see it.

"Marcus-sama. Here’s your ticket for the bullet train. You’ll get to see good things.”

Whoa, what's this? This Kazuya, he must be up to something. I say

“Alright, then let's go.”

“I'll accompany you there.”

Kazuya said while holding his luggage.

"Aren’t you the leader in Japan? They won’t mind if you aren't around?”

“My dependents are obedient to me. And to you, of course. So, no problem."

Then I thanked him.

“I have to tell my brother kamil first. If there is a misunderstanding, things will get complicated. I'd like to contact him while I'm on the road.....Kazuya. Do you have his contact information?”

He smiled softly.

"Yes, I do."

This guy is scary after all...

"Please contact him in the car."

He handed me a note. I packed my luggage in the trunk and headed for the train station. On the way, I called my brother.

“...it's me. It's Marcus. It's been a long time, brother. Is it okay if we talk now?"

On the other end of the line, I heard a gunshot.

"Oh! No problem! It's rare to hear from you, Marc.”
