"It is expected that Lady Duma and Lady Nephira will be here with you shortly. UhuuHUh. Wait here for a while. OooUgGhhH."
After guiding Takashi, Excella, and Aina to Duma's ship, the undead went away while laughing in a way unique to the undead.
Takashi looked behind him from the deck. In the blink of an eye, the port of the Imperial Capital was moving away from his sight. Duma's fleet was traveling at a breakneck speed through the seawater.
(Did they attempt the attack knowing that Nephira was away? Could it be a demon insurrection? Or was it another plot involving the Salvation Crusaders…?)
Takashi continued to be worried about Suzukiland and the safety of the Meru-Kiru sisters. However, after a while, Excella's face turned pale, and she immediately turned to him in panic.
"L-Lord Hero, something's not right! This ship isn't heading towards Leirune!"

Takashi exclaimed in surprise. Excella then explained that judging from the position of the sun, the ship was heading in a completely different direction from Leirune.

Before they noticed, the sun became obscured by thick clouds. Under a cloudy sky, Duma's big ship stopped in the middle of the calm sea without heading anywhere.

Then, Duma herself, the commander of the Immortal Fleet of the Demon Lord's Army, personally walked up the stairs leading to the deck.
"Duma! Where's Nephira?" asked Suzuki, worried that something might have happened to Nephira.
"S-Still in the Imperial Capital! H-Here, there is no one but, y-y'all and me."
Duma laughed happily with a "Kikeke". Takashi noticed many undead and dolls on the deck, surrounding him and everyone else. Takashi glared at Duma.
"Did you lie about the report of Leirune being in danger?"
"T-The whole thing, I made it up!"
(Phew. I'm glad… NOT. As expected, this situation is…)
"Su-Suzuki. I-I want you. L-Leave the Thunder-Lance C-Charge and, j-join my Immortal Fleet."
Duma spoke in an excited voice, causing her to stutter more.
"I refuse! Who would want to be working under a demon that deceives people to bring them along!?"
"T-That's a shame."
As soon as Duma finished speaking, one of the undead tried to get close to Takashi.
"Suzuki will become an undead TOO OooUgGhhH—"
Takashi braced himself for the attack. However, Duma silently and quickly sneaked behind the undead, and opened her mouth wide with a "kapa" sound. Her mouth cavity, which opened up until her ears, was lined with sharp, thin fangs reminiscent of needle-point handiworks. With a loud bang, Duma chomped the whole head of the undead.
(Whoa–!?)
Everyone else couldn't move from shock.
Duma laughed as she munched to pieces the undead's head with a "goshagusha."
"Y-Y'all stay out of it. A-As for Su-Suzuki, I'll take care of him m-myself."
Duma approached Takashi with her characteristic "furafura" puppet doll gait.
"I-I will be gentle with you. I'll pour my fluids into you slowly, ma-making sure it do-doesn't hurt…"
"You've got to be kidding me! I don't want to become something like a chair set!"
"Kike ke ke! Then that just means I'll have to force you down, with all my might, and forcefully in-inject my bodily fluids into you, don't IIIIIII!?"
Duma's eyes went wide open. She went down on all fours, crouched, and assumed the stance of a savage beast on the verge of pouncing.
"Kike ke ke… ke 'Form Metamorphosis'…!"
Two arms burst through the dress from around Duma's flanks. New legs appeared from the hip as well. Four arms and four legs. Duma had taken on the appearance of a spider. Her eyeballs were hollowed out and turned into cavities. Excella's lips trembled as she noticed needle-like fangs growing out of her dark eye sockets.
"M-Monster…–!"
"Kike ke ke! ke ke ke kike ke ke ke ke!"
Duma rushed toward Suzuki, laughing loudly. Takashi quickly hid behind the thick mast of the ship, but Duma continued to ram towards him. The mast cracked and snapped right away after it was hit by Duma's charge.
"H-HEY!? You'll KILL me!!"
Suzuki shouted in panic, seeing the force contained in her attack.
"Y-You may get fatally wounded, but that's okay! I-I'll patch you up later! Kike ke!"
(Duma of the Immortal Fleet of the Demon Lord's Army! This guy, is a real pain in the ass!)
Duma, like the other demons, thought Takashi was cute. That was the reason why she wanted Takashi to join the Immortal Fleet and also the reason why she wanted to turn him into a doll. The problem, however, was that Takashi's life or death was irrelevant to Duma.
"R-Resign yourself, and become my doooooooooooolllllll!!"
