The ballroom was enveloped in a dazzling light.
Screams could be heard from everywhere, as the light was so bright that it was impossible to keep one's eyes open.

Charlotte's magical power has gone out of control.
"Rio! Rio, are you okay?"
"Leon! I'm safe. Where are you?"
Because I was suddenly hit by an intense light, I did not know where Leon was, but he was not far from me.

I reached out in the direction of the voice, and a warm hand grasped mine firmly.

Groping for Leon's face, I placed my hand on his cheek.
"Can you see Leon?"

He said they were dark glasses with lenses that blocked out the light.

I would like to ask the same question as Leon.

Kikuno-sama, who was laughing with her hand over her mouth, was a mystery.

I gripped Leon's mane tightly as he swooped down to the fountain.

Just as the ground approached, I jumped off Leon's back.
Charlotte's big eyes are bloodshot, like a ravenous beast on the prowl.
"Kukkuk! That little girl is the god of creation. Oi! Dragon god tribe. Give me the little girl!"
"I refuse!"
Sylphy-sama held May in her arms as if to protect her, and Ron-sama stood in front of Charlotte to protect them both.
"Then I will take her from you by force."
A low male voice.
That voice is not Charlotte's. It is probably speaking through her as the medium.
The one that is speaking is probably the founder of the Campbell family.
"Who will give you my sister!"
Pulling my hairpin out of my hair, I transformed it into a small dagger and stabbed Charlotte in the neck with the hilt from mid-air.
While there is no guarantee of fatality if I thrust with all my might, I can knock her out if I am more or less careful.
It is one of the self-defense techniques I learned from my sword master, Tojurou-san.

For a moment, Charlotte held her neck and almost collapsed, but she barely held on.

Chris came running from the ballroom, calling my name.

Kikuno-sama smiled as she applauded.

Even Ron-sama interrupted.

Charlotte, who had torn the hem of her dress down to her knees, stood up.
She invoked her own magic, but it has already changed into a distorted form of light magic.
"May! Stand back!"
Something jet-black and slimy wrapped around a blade of light came toward May.
I shielded May with my back, and I tried to counter Charlotte's blade with my magical power.
However, a blade of wind passed by me and collided with the blade that Charlotte had released, canceling it out.
Moreover, another blade of wind went toward Charlotte, cutting off the right side of her hair.

Big brother walked toward me with a sinister smile on his face.
"Big brother!"

Big brother picked up May into his arms.
"You!"
Charlotte, whose hair no longer fit for the occasion, glared at my brother, to which he snorted.

With May in his arms, elder brother once again created a blade of wind.
"Big brother. I don't want to kill her just yet. At least cut the other side of her hair first."
May smiled prettily while saying something disturbing.
"You siblings are merciless."
Ron-sama laughed again. And he was laughing so hard he had to hold his stomach.
"You little brat! How dare you taunt me!"
Charlotte must have felt that she had been made a fool of. And she created a distorted blade again.
However, the blade that came toward her was swallowed by space. This was Ron-sama's magic.
"There is going to be damage here. Yurie, we are going to transfer."
"Where are we going to transfer to?"
"Somewhere suitable."
Ron-sama's magic enveloped us. With Charlotte included. ......
