Dressed in white, Yan Ruyu stood atop the mountain peak, pure and ethereal like a celestial maiden from the Moon Palace, as if she might snatch the moon and leave at any moment.

The Leviathan Prince let out a long cry. Behind him appeared a golden divine bird. Like a god, it spread its sacred wings, breaking free of the Paragon Artifact pressure. His body turned into golden radiance and shot skyward.

Standing high in the heavens, with long golden hair flying wildly, eyes sharp as blades, and a tall body like cast gold, he was like a demon king, looking down upon all.

The other demons were all shocked. They hadn’t expected the Leviathan Prince to break free of the Paragon Artifact might and stand in the heavens, this terrifying aloofness made their hearts chill.

Elsewhere, Ye Fan stood straight like a green pine. His special physique spared him the kneeling urge, but he was still affected, his body felt almost not his own, hard to move.

He was not cowed, but his cultivation realm was too low. Unlike the Leviathan Prince, he couldn’t break free and could only remain where he stood.

The Leviathan Prince stood in the sky, golden hair blazing and wild, half-covering a face like chiseled stone. His expression grew firmer.

“The Motherly Energy Source Root, it must be mine! I will summon my own Paragon Artifact!”

“You just don’t dare to fight the Primeval Desolate Sacred Physique, do you?” Tu Fei shouted.

“Killing him is as easy as cutting grass! But why should I obey your arrangements?!” The Leviathan Prince was unmoved, hands clasped behind his back, utterly arrogant.

“My Leviathan God Race acts without your meddling. But fine, I will take his life and seize the Motherly Energy Source Root!” The Leviathan Prince dove toward Ye Fan.

Yan Ruyu flicked her fingers, petals filling the sky like blades, blocking the Leviathan Prince’s path and slashing toward him.

The Leviathan Prince punched, shaking the void. All the petals shattered and vanished. His demon power was unmatched.

“With me here, can you kill him?” Yan Ruyu stood unmoving atop the peak.

“Princess, you have a Paragon Artifact, so naturally I can’t do anything to you. But if I wish to kill someone, you may not be able to stop me…” the Leviathan Prince said coldly.

Ye Fan, standing on the summit, gave him a glance and sneered:

“Think you’re some unrivaled master? If you really are, go kill the Radiant Light Sacred Lord. Show us your ‘demonic might.’”

“One day, I will,” the Leviathan Prince replied, eyes full of killing intent.

“I could say the same, one day, I’ll crush you with one hand,” Ye Fan mocked.

“You seem rather unconvinced,” the Leviathan Prince said icily.

“I speak truth. If we were in the same realm, I could swat you to death with one hand. And right now, in the Radiant Light Sacred Lord’s eyes, you’re less than an ant. You’re not qualified to strut across the world.”

“A ‘desolate ancient waste body’ dares speak so boastfully!” the Leviathan Prince said, his expression cold.

“I’ve cultivated only four years, far fewer realms than you, of course I’m not your current match. But you’ve trained for so many years, so posturing in front of me isn’t much to brag about.”

Everyone was startled, Ye Fan had cultivated only four years. To reach this level was already astounding. If such a physique had been born in the Desolate Era, his future would have been limitless.

These words infuriated many. The Leviathan Prince sneered repeatedly.

“You won’t do, I could kill ten of you,” Ye Fan replied, clearly trying to provoke the Leviathan Prince into action.

This demon youth was a strong figure in his generation and very arrogant. His eyes flashed coldly before turning to Yan Ruyu.

Yan Ruyu did not refuse. Her palm flashed, the Paragon Artifact might flickered, and his cultivation was suppressed.

“To deal with you, I don’t need to move, close the gate and release the dog. Black Emperor, bite his ass!”

“Damn it!” The big black dog roared angrily, turning to bite at Ye Fan instead.

Everyone was stunned.

The demon youth struck upward with both hands, but with a muffled boom, he was blasted away, coughing blood.

Ye Fan rushed again, the black hand falling like a collapsing ancient tree, shaking the sky.

This time, the strike sent the youth flying, crashing onto the summit, spitting blood again and again.

“Damn brat, just you wait!” the Black Emperor fumed, tail sticking straight up as he lunged at the demon youth.

“Bro Fan, you’re really setting the dog on him… is that mutt reliable?” Tu Fei muttered.

Everyone else was dumbfounded, sending an untransformed black dog against a demon expert seemed suicidal.

The demon slapped the Black Emperor, thinking it would pulp him, only for his own arm to nearly break from the shock.

Boom!

He punched at the dog’s head, but the Black Emperor, no fan of being hit, moved like black lightning, opening a bloody maw and biting down on the huge fist.

Crunch!

Bones snapped.

“Aaagh!” the demon youth screamed, nearly fainting from the pain.

A cold draft hit his wrist, he looked and saw his hand was gone, blood streaming from the stump.

“Aaahhh—!” His screams were gut-wrenching as he staggered back.

Ptui!

The Black Emperor spat blood and the severed hand onto the ground, then ran to a mountain spring to rinse his mouth, cursing:

“Damn, I’ve always hated fox meat the most!”

Everyone: “…”

All were stunned, this lazy-looking black dog was clearly a terrifying fighter. Truly, biting dogs don’t bark, it had seemed harmless all along, but was in fact a ruthless beast.

“Eight generations of bad luck!” the dog cursed.

Everyone felt the urge to beat the mutt up.

“Speaking of which, my favorite food is roast bird,” the dog said, licking its lips at the Leviathan Prince.

“Say it louder!” Tu Fei egged him on.

The Leviathan Prince descended onto the peak, eyes cold as he stared at Ye Fan:

He turned to Yan Ruyu.

“I don’t want to follow anyone’s orders. This is my own will. Princess, please put away your Paragon Artifact, I will seal my own power.”

“Are you sure you want a same-realm battle with the Sacred Body?” Tu Fei asked.

“Since ancient times, Grand Emperors have been peerless. If I am to walk that path, I must overpower the Primeval Desolate Sacred Physique!” the Leviathan Prince said solemnly.

“Hahaha!” Ye Fan laughed loudly, feeling his blood surge, eager to throw a punch right then.
