Hearing Wood Martial God’s words, Xu Zimo did not refute.

The two walked into the inner part of the tent and talked for about five minutes. Finally, Wood Martial God walked out with a displeased expression.

“We’ll each take a step back,” Commander Wood looked at Xu Zimo and said again. “We won’t demand the True God Sword, but you must cooperate with us to capture the Blood Rune Beasts.”

“How do I cooperate?” Xu Zimo asked.

“Following your commands is impossible,” Xu Zimo said directly. “But if you want to protect me from the shadows, I agree. However, I have one more request.”

“What request?” Wood Martial God frowned.

“That’s not an absolute statement,” Dark Martial God quickly smoothed things over at the side. He smiled and said: “If we capture the Blood Rune Beasts together, you will naturally share half the credit, and then you can gain an audience with the City Lord.”

“Then it’s settled,” Xu Zimo nodded. “If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving.”
