Vol. 4 - Ch. 41 - The true form to hell

Shicho, one of the four cardinal of the Laguna, crawls out of the bed,

"What's with all this ruckus?"

And asked his female subordinate, who disturbed his sleep, with a sullen expression.

"There's a mass arrest by the empire's central administration of the justice department! Please hurry up and escape!"

"Judicial department? Don't be stupid. What are they trying to do with aristocrats's toy agency at this late!"

"It may be but right now, everyone in the residence is getting arrested one after another, irrespective of executive or not. The one who resisted were...... Killed."

"Killed?"

That's strange. Judicial department isn't an oppression organization. They don't have the conception of killing. It would have been possible if they were guards or the army at least but to begin with, they wouldn't have been able to step in the second district. For that reason, this place was a holy sanctuary for Laguna. If so, then it's not the raid from army or guards but the same kind of trend as poisonous liquor who suffered a loss in the Straheim.

"Not that company again!!"

Sagami Company 一一 it's organization that has been eliminating the laguna and increasing its influence in the underworld society lately.

Killing the poisonous liquor and taking the whole of the Straheim underworld under their control. Moreover, there's also a rise in activity in the imperial capital and they have already destroyed Laguna's subdivisions in the third and fourth district.

"They got me!"

The second district is under the influence of purebred aristocrats, Laguna's partner, so even those guys will not take action for the time being and he underestimates them and let his guards down.

The cautiousness and craftiness of the poisonous liquor is quite impressive among the four cardinals. He must have put up as many defensive measures as he could come up with. And yet, they killed that poisonous liquor and took the underworld of Straheim under their control. He neglected that not even the second district was absolutely a safety zone.

"Quickly make way for the escape! We have to leave the imperial capital quickly!"

There's not even enough time to change clothes. He puts on the kimono and picks up his weapon, whip, from the table. However the important subordinate just stood there with her head dropping down, standing still. And 一一

"What are you doing so absentminded!"

He chides his female subordinate who was still standing still with her head hanging down but,

The subordinate repeated the same words.

"As I'm saying, what are youー一一"

Their conversation goes on loop. He has seen this phenomenon before. As soon as he thinks about it, the impending sense of crisis turns into a signal and runs around his brain like an electric shock.

"There's a mass ...... arrest by the empire's central administration of justice! Please hurry up and escape escape escapeescapeescapeescapeeeeeeeeeeee!"

The next moment, that head burst into tiny pieces and flew around. Simultaneously, innumerable bees fly out of the neck section rustlingly.

"Hiiii!?"

He retreated back while screaming faintly and swung his whip at high speed to knock down the bees. The bless flew at high speed, slipped past the whip, flooded towards Shicho, bit a hole and invaded his body.

"Giiihiiiii!? S, sto一一"

He wasn't even able to continue his words and several hundreds of the bees bite on the flesh of Shicho and break into his body.

"Iiiiiguhaaaaa!!"

The sound and the sensation of them moving around in his body. Each time, it produces acute pain and leads to unbearable itch.

"How'z? The feeling of being eaten bit by bit, little by little? Amazingly, pain, itching and very wonderful right?"

Next thing he knew, a beautiful blonde woman in a yellow dress was standing there.

"Zaa...... be..... me" (save me)

He somehow opened his mouth that was unable to open and begs for mercy but, the blonde woman smirks with the corner of her mouth literally seams apart till the base of her ear.

"No way. After all, you guys killed the Gill"

"Gi...... ll?"

"Yeah. He was kind to humans and a pretty nice man next to the lord. So, I will never forgive you"

She sentence him to death with a bouncy voice,

"The life of my beloved lord. I will thoroughly make you vomit out. Of course I don't mind if you want to resist and do as you like. But you see~, I'm sure this will be even more painful and severe than dying."

"De...... vil"

These are surely the very best words to describe this monster.

"You're a devilll...... "

"Well, the question ――"

So 一一一

"Debillllllllll!!"

Soon, Shicho let out an extremely loud noise from his throat, the only part he could move.
