If he could help, that meant he could be part of this. Just imagining all the thrilling events that might unfold made Xia Chen even more eager to please HuMing and convince him to take him along for the investigation.

The rest of the day passed quickly. When the final bell rang, students packed up their belongings and headed home, leaving behind those who stayed in the dorms.
The academic atmosphere here was relatively relaxed, but with exams approaching, most students were focused on their studies.
Many of them came from well-off families, but grades were still an important metric for them.
