Ch. 0 - Extra chapter 4 – Yinyue

The bright-white moon loomed in the middle of the sky.

"You go out first."

Zhao Yinyue's voice was extremely calm. The bright white moonlight shone on her delicate little face through the window lattice, setting her off like a fairy that was immaculate.

Ji Hong shook his head and said with a bitter smile, "Yue’er, you haven’t eaten rice for several days in a row, this is not a way to go on, not to mention ... you are torturing yourself like this, what about Nian'er?"

As he mentioned this, he looked at the seven-day-old baby beside Zhao Yinyue.

Oddly enough, the baby was neither crying nor making a fuss, and its big black and white eyes just stared fixedly at Zhao Yinyue without blinking.

Zhao Yinyue said softly: "I'll let you out, I have my own measures for Nian'er."

Ji Hong still had a wry smile on his face, he tried to take a step forward, and the girl on the couch's eyes turned a little colder.

"Don't look at me like this," Ji Hong pointed to the baby in the white velvet swaddle, "Yue'er, you locked yourself in the room and don’t allow anyone to touch Nian'er. Why?"

Zhao Yinyue lowered her gaze and looked at the fair-skinned baby in her arms, and said softly, "You will know tomorrow."

Ji Hong looked at the girl on the couch dressed in a snow-white, but there was no trace of tempe as he resentfully retreated.

What he didn't know was that this last look was a farewell.

At dawn.

"Yue'er, have some porridge."

Ji Hong pushed open the door and walked in.

As far as his eye could see, there was only a sleeping baby. However, there was a silver-white crescent between the baby's eyebrows, which emitted a blazing white light, which was extremely miraculous.
