Ch. 975 - Demon-Slaying Conference Begins

Just like when the Martial Heaven Tournament was held before, in the center of the city a projection appeared in the void, allowing everyone to see all the contents of the conference clearly.

The place where the Demon-Slaying Assembly was being held was the Baili Imperial Clan’s Heaven-Genesis Microcosm.

“I think those are the ones who truly deserve to die,” Lin Ruhu said angrily.

Xu Zimo nodded slightly at the side.

“Brother Zimo, you also think they’re beasts?” Lin Ruhu asked.

“To see you display your divine power, how could I miss that?” Miss Jing laughed. “If you get defeated, I just might get the chance to play the beauty rescuing the hero. And besides, you don’t need to thank me. There will be many chances in the future where you’ll need to. When that time comes, how do you plan to repay me?”

“That’s easy. If someday you run into trouble, or are being hunted down, I can consider saving you,” Xu Zimo replied.

“I won’t run into trouble,” Miss Jing shook her head confidently.

“Don’t be so sure,” Xu Zimo said.

“I am sure,” Miss Jing looked straight into Xu Zimo’s eyes and said word by word.

The sound of steel rang out, “clang”, as Shadow Tyrant was suddenly drawn.

Miss Jing stared in shock. Xu Zimo’s blade was already at her throat.

The cold intent of the blade even touched her skin.

She could feel the stern killing intent.
