Two different flames were burning fiercely.

Although its true appearance couldn’t be clearly seen, its outline could be discerned through the flames.

The great bird’s entire body was a blazing red.

Its feathers, layered one upon another, were orderly and full-winged.

Especially its claws, which looked incomparably tough at first glance, as if they could pierce through all defenses in existence.

Its head bore something like a crown, exuding nobility and composure.

Its tail, with seven or eight feathers arranged neatly, had shapes and colors that stood out.

The magnificent Vermilion Bird soared beneath the grand starry sky.

“Because of the fusion with the Solar True Flame, it could activate the Southern Luminous Fire. But they are ultimately two different types of flame,” Xu Zimo explained. “After resurrection, the Vermilion Bird will still experience internal conflict.”

“I understand,” Venerable Nu nodded.

“There’s something else you should be aware of,” Xu Zimo said.

“Although she’s revived, all of her past memories have been erased. She remembers nothing now.”

“I know, as long as she’s alive, that’s all that matters,” Venerable Nu nodded repeatedly.

As the Vermilion Bird slowly descended and began to take human form, Xu Zimo patted Venerable Nu on the shoulder.

“I’ll be going now. Once she finishes transforming, find her some clothes.”

“Let’s go,” Xu Zimo said with a smile and a nod.

The two of them stepped into the air, heading out of the Heavenly Dao Academy.

According to Rock Solid, the Stone Race was actually not far from Heavenly Dao City.

Similarly, the Feather Race had relocated nearby to make it easier to attack the Stone Race.

About three hundred miles east of Heavenly Dao City was where the Stone Race and the Feather Race were locked in battle.

But just as the two of them had left Vermilion Bird Island, a surge of sword energy blocked their way.

“Wasn’t it agreed we’d have a duel? Are you trying to run?” Ji Ruobing’s cold voice came from the side.
