Ch. 124

"Let them in."

Amos found it strange how the two groups got together.

Since the mermaid joined the White Castle, apart from singing every day, she took a group of murloc brothers to go wandering around in the city, and they didn't need to pay for their meals (she'd sing to pay off debts).

The beautiful singing voice conquered all the audience, which made the popularity of the mermaid soar, and almost the entire city knew about the gold medal singer in White Scale.

The Forgotten Adventures team had a simple rest in White Scale city, and it was normal to encounter the mermaid.

Regarding the purpose of the Forgotten team's visit, Amos had a vague guess towards it. After all, the Mermaid's [Fisherman's Song], this kind of weapon in a group warfare, any adventurous team would not help but want to fight for it.

Mogsang Desolate walked into the hall with a group of people.

"Good day, master."

"What's the matter with you guys?"

"That's it. We want to invite Miss Daisy to be a member of our adventure team. Miss Daisy also has the same intention, but Miss Daisy has an obligation towards the White Castle, so we want to ask for your consent."

Third, the Demon Eye Tyrant's bad habit of tormenting its enemies allowed him to successfully arrive in front of it and freeze it with his breath before it had time to react.

Amos calculated what he might encounter in the future based on the logical deduction of Demon Eye Tyrant's drawbacks.

As far as the second and third points were concerned, Amos had no such tastes, and his principle for the enemy had always been to kill and to never cripple.

What worries him the most was the first point. If he encountered a creature of the same level that was immune to ice magic, what should he do?

Amos thought about it carefully and found that he had no other way except to escape. Because of the racial talent bonus, most of the magic that he, a white dragon, learned was ice magic in order to quickly improve his combat effectiveness.

Learning a new branch of magic was of dire importance.

So which branch of magic to study? This was a question that needed careful consideration. First, it should not conflict with ice attribute magic, and second, it was best to have a bonus effect on ice attribute magic. Finally, he couldn't choose some taboo magic, such as necromancy and demonic magic.

Amos thought about that series of magic which met his own requirements.

Learning another branch of elemental magic could only be the icing on the cake, and it would not substantially improve his combat effectiveness.

After a while, Amos decided to study soul magic. The soul was the basic condition for normal life. Except for some gods in the star realm, he had not heard of any life immune to soul attacks.

Soul magic was tricky and weird, and it was impossible to guard against. The price of magic equipment that protected the soul had always been high.

But correspondingly, the difficulty of acquiring knowledge about soul magic and the difficulty of learning were also evenly matched, but as long as there was a direction, everything was doable.

An unknown island around Kumlinge.

The mermaid Daisy happily took out the food and tools. She ran to the shade of the big tree on the beach and made a fire to cook; the kobold stood aside, watching the food tumbling in the pot, keeping its saliva in check. The night elf captain stood on the beach, looking at the scenery of the adventure destination---Kumlinge; the forest elf put arrows on the bow and was alert to any surrounding movement.

As for the goblin thieves, once they got to the island, they didn't know where to slip away.

Soon, lunch was ready.

Smelling the scent of food floating in the pot, Jacques sniffed.

"Ah, I finally don't have to endure the dark cooking of the captain."

Mogsang Desolate remembered that it was either unripe, or boiled food, and rubbed his nose in embarrassment.

The kobold warrior smelled the scent, and could not wait to use a spoon to take out a spoonfull of milky sea mussel soup. After blowing it gently with its mouth, he put it closer to his mouth. The hot soup slid down his throat. In the stomach, a delicious ocean aura burst, and Kodak Golden Teeth's eyes lit up.

"Wow, I didn't expect Daisy to cook so well."

Jacques Yuyu stroked his chest with one hand. Even if it was not the first time he heard it, the beautiful singing of the mermaid still amazed him.
