As the author, I am very happy to have released the second volume of my work, but there is something else that makes me even happier.
Somehow, Mangaka Ichiru Iijima's comicalization of the book started in Monthly Young Ace. Thank you very much.
The story that Mangaka Iijima has drawn has Ijima's distinctive unique structure and development that even those who have read the original novel will surely enjoy it with a brand-new fresh feeling. I feel that the movement flow coming from the visuals somehow enhanced the cuteness and made the experience even more enjoyable.

In the afterword to the first volume, I wrote things such as "Cuteness is more profound than you think," and in writing the second volume, I thought, "Since I am writing a novel about cuteness, I need to do more in-depth research on cuteness!" and with a renewed determination, I began my studies.
Recently, I've been doing a lot of investigation on cuteness. When I heard "That is cute," I headed east, and when I heard "This is cute," I headed west, checking carefully. I mean, I had never studied cuteness before until I started at my current age. I wonder if this makes sense…!
No, it made sense. Like that, in studying cuteness, I've come to realize something.
As Leelou said in the first volume, "It's possible to save the world just by being cute." But ——— I have only recently come to truly believe from the bottom of my heart that it is possible.
When my heart is in turmoil, I find that looking at something cute calms me down. The Little-Cute Hamster Mister GOTTE… It's so cute and warms my heart so much that I don't even feel like writing a novel anymore. No, that's not good. But, I was able to reaffirm that something about that cuteness has power.
Violence, robbery, murder… I feel that all the misfortunes in the world can be stopped if the people involved are exposed to cuteness beforehand. Seriously.
Conclusion ——— Cuteness… is outstanding.
Now, I would like to in a few words touch on the contents of the second volume.
In the first volume, Suzuki somehow manages to save his home, Leirune, all on his own but this time he struggles to stop a major war from breaking out between humans and demons.
A new miracle, the "Heavenly Power". A new Monster from the Demon Lord's Army. A Disciple of Leelou apart from Suzuki… and much more, we hope to have accomplished a perfect score volume full-packed of content that we planned.
We hope that all the readers will enjoy this new volume and find it more brushed up and cuter on an even greater scale than before.
