“Demon Lord, I hope you can make it clear,” Luo Tianya said doubtfully.

He thought for some time, but he had no idea how he could have offended the Demon Lord.

“Let me ask you. Did you send people to hunt down Ruying?” Ning Yechen narrowed his eyes.

Luo Tianya frowned, looking puzzled. “Demon Lord, are you joking? Ruying is my daughter. Why would I send people to hunt her down?”

Luo Tianya was composed but looked puzzled. From the looks of it, he was not lying.

Those people who came to kill Ruying weren’t sent by the Temple of Goddess Luo? Ning Yechen wondered who it could be.

Luo Tianya explained, “Demon Lord, although I don’t know why you’re looking for my daughter, she was taken away over a century ago by a certain force. Since then, I haven't seen her, and she has never returned to the Temple of Goddess Luo.”

Since the Temple of Goddess Luo was not behind this, it had to be that force who had taken her away!

Luo Tianya shook his head. “I don’t know. I simply know that they are extremely powerful, far beyond what the temple can compare to. Even the Shimmering Ice Sacred Domain doesn’t dare to offend them! They claimed that my daughter was very talented and had the potential to become an Empress. After making us a lot of promises, they took her away.”

The Shimmering Ice Sacred Domain was among the Nine Great Heavenly Domains and on par with Tiandao Palace. If the Shimmering Ice Sacred Domain did not dare to offend them, then it could only be one of the reclusive ancient families that had been around for over a millennium in the Heavenly Realm!
